Tap CT15 7DF into your satellite navigation system. The full address is the Marquis of Granby, Alkham Valley Rd, Alkham, Dover.
There are 25 free parking spaces available at the venue on a first come, first served basis. Additional spaces (off-road but unsecured) available opposite Alkham Village Hall, a two minute walk away.
RAIL
The Marquis of Granby is closest to Kearsney train station, but taxi availability is likely to be better from Dover Priory, Folkestone Central and Folkestone West. For those travelling by train and wanting to break the ice early, we’ll be co-ordinating a ride share service from local stations. More on this nearer the time.

Stay at the Marquis
Coming from out of town? We have nine beautiful double rooms at the venue for Saturday 30th May into Sunday 31st, with longer stays available on request. These are priced at 220 (classic) and 245 (deluxe) per night, inclusive of one of the best breakfasts available in the county. Please let us know if you would like to stay or have any questions. Check out the rooms here. (Don’t be shy, we need to shift them!)
If you’d rather keep your distance
For those whose social battery will be depleted after one evening in our company, we recommend the following:
Landlubbers: Alkham Court, Cockpit Cottage in Elham, The Five Bells Inn in Brabourne, Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, The Lydden Bell
Beach bums: The Ship Inn in Sandgate, The View in Folkestone, The London & Paris in Folkestone, The Hythe Imperial
We don’t want our day to be cost prohibitive to anyone. If accommodation and travel might be difficult, get in touch and we’ll make sure you’re sorted, no questions asked.

Make a week(end) of it
If we know you well enough to invite you to our wedding, and you’re not from South Kent, there’s a high chance that we’ve already bored you with a million different reasons why you should visit. But we paid good money for this website, so we’re entitled to do so again.
